Section 11.2 – following the cancellation of Construction Alert 46, the requirement for installing Tenmat FF109 200x200 fire hood to all Downlighters within intermediate floor joist zones has been removed. The schedule of materials has also been updated to remove this item.
Section 7.7 added – Electrical cable in close proximity to gas pipe without being suitably protected. BS 6891:2015 (Specification for the installation and maintenance of low pressure pipework of up to 35mm on premises) states in section 8.4.2. that ‛Where installation pipework is not separated from electrical equipment or cables by an insulating enclosure, dividing barrier, trunking or conduit, it shall be spaced as follows – at least 25mm away from electricity supply and distribution cablesʹ. The Contractor should install a back plate to ensure the cable is routed away from the gas pipe.

15.3 Rewording - Kitchen (Where no hood extract)
Fans in this location must be capable of giving extraction at a rate not less than 60 litres/second extraction, ducted to outside through sleeve, duct should be built in brickwork as work proceeds or 30l/s if the fan is placed over the hob.
