World Mental Health Day

With two construction workers taking their own life every working day, on World Mental Health Day we want to help raise awareness and overcome the stigma of talking about mental health problems within the construction industry.

As the country's largest housebuilder, we have a responsibility to support everyone on this – both employees and people across the building industry.

Which is why with our partners the Home Builders Federation and the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, we are encouraging our site-based teams to deliver a toolbox talk to encourage positive conversation and raise awareness of this important subject.

Across our business we are also working with Lighthouse Club to shine a light on this important subject through site tours around the country this Autumn.
